Each step of the air travel experience holds significance in today’s increasingly customer-centric world — especially for business travelers who frequently travel for work. Fortunately, there’s been a growing focus on how such travel affects employee happiness and overall satisfaction, instead of simply thinking about the company’s bottom line. According to a 2017 survey by the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), improving business traveler satisfaction was a strategic priority for three out of four corporate travel managers for the year ahead.
American Airlines realizes that little things can make a big difference when it comes to flying for business and has expanded its benefit offerings to elevate the travel experience for its corporate customers, no matter what their elite status.
Passengers who travel for a company that has a corporate agreement with the airline now have access to a number of benefits while flying with American, such as complimentary Priority access, preferred seating, prioritized re-accommodation service and prioritized downgrade protection, and discounts on leisure travel booked with American.
These passengers can now go through the check-in, security, and boarding processes with Priority access, making the air travel journey as seamless as possible. They’ll also have complimentary booking access to preferred seats — such as window and aisle seats, otherwise reserved for the airline’s most frequent travelers — via American’s website or mobile app. These travelers will also receive higher priority for re-accommodation so that if their flight is cancelled or another irregular operation takes place, they get back on track sooner. And finally, corporate travelers receive exclusive discounts on special packages that include air and hotels, rental cars, theme park tickets, tours, and other components when traveling for leisure purposes outside of work.
It’s not just large companies who can benefit from a better traveler experience for their travelers. When a small-to-midsize company sets up a corporate agreement with American Airlines, they now also unlock these traveler benefits. Other corporate agreement perks include upfront discounts, fee waivers, and access to an American Airlines’ account manager, who can assist corporate travel managers in centralizing their company’s travel — ensuring that their travelers receive an elevated experience when traveling.
