She headed up the travel editorial division for 10 years at 24.com, the leading digital publisher in Africa, where she honed her multimedia content creation skills —ranging from video and podcast production to devising social media strategies. An industry thought leader, Selene was a featured speaker at WTM Africa 2019, where she delved into pressing issues like Overtourism and the role of Artificial Intelligence in modernizing the travel sector. She has also lent her expertise as a judge on multiple award panels, notably the WTMAfrica 2020 for the Most Compelling Agency Story. Academically, she holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Media Management and is a graduate of the Seth Godin AltMBA program in 2017. She is also a 2020 Media24 Future Skills Development Program alumni. Beyond her professional pursuits, Selene is an avid traveler and adventurer, often exploring the great outdoors in Cape Town, South Africa, with her family and dogs.
